BALKUN BROTHERS is a very young band of rough Blues and pure Rock 'n' Roll, driven by brothers Steve and Nick Firey, naughty kids from Connecticut whose reputation is skyrocketing these days across the Atlantic.
To channel the "raw, rough-and-ready" energy of these young wolves, produce them, record them and take them under his protective wing, was there anyone better than the illustrious New York Bad Boy, Mister Popa Chubby himself? Certainly not, and the Bronx ogre here stands as a truly intelligent and constructive guide, drawing on his 25 years of experience at the international summit of Blues and Rock 'n' Roll: an incredible boon for these young artists.
