Badfinger At The BBC 1969-1970

Description

Before the success of Come And Get It, Badfinger regularly performed in the BBC studios, first under the name The Iveys, and then after adopting their new name at the end of 1969. Badfinger At The BBC 1969-1970 brings together these radio recordings, where the band's early compositions are alongside covers of The Beatles, The Band, Traffic, The Temptations, and Aretha Franklin. Captured in an intimate setting and under the conditions typical of BBC sessions, these performances reflect the band's evolution, still heavily influenced by its beat and soul roots before establishing itself as one of the major figures of British power pop.
