Last year, BABYMETAL concluded its first 10-year epic. As a celebration, the Japanese metal formation released its retrospective album 10 BABYMETAL Years on vinyl. Then they released an encrypted video announcing that BABYMETAL would be "sealed" from the world until further notice. Today, BABYMETAL breaks the seal, making its return to Earth. Their official website https://www.babymetal.com revealed a LEGEND MAP describing all future activities of BABYMETAL, including BABYMETAL's first concept album, THE OTHER ONE, which will be released worldwide on Friday, March 24, 2023.
The concept album reveals the other side of BABYMETAL's story that, until now, remained unknown. In total, there will be 10 new tracks coming as part of the THE OTHER ONE project, each track representing a unique theme based on 10 distinct parallel worlds they have discovered.
