It's a collection of pretty kick-ass songs. Kat Bjelland's performance is probably less wild than usual, but there are striking moments of noise and quirky beauty, like "Drivin'" which features drummer Lori Barbero in rehearsal and Kat Bjelland's more dreamy vocals in the background. "Sweet '69" is just as delightful with shredded guitars, and Bjelland clearly enjoys the noise and tears it up vocally. Songs like "Hello" and "Oh yes" are pleasant, just good, hard rock. It's catchy punk rock, boudi, loud. This album is produced by Tim Mac and Babes In Toyland. We can't help but love it.
