Description
The first conceptual album by the Norwegian Progressive Rock band, telling the story of a troubled soul left alone with its thoughts, isolated in a cabin deep in the dark forests and far from civilization. A massive and beautifully melodic piece of music: from lush and melancholic moods to heavy and more aggressive atmospheres. An album that captures the feeling of a cold and gloomy autumn - a dark sky, filled with stars contemplating the mist. The Approbation was written and recorded in a cabin in Alvdal (Norway) and includes real sounds of rain and train horns that were recorded outside the cabin, at night, under the stars.
