Description

Three years after Ghostlights, Avantasia’s latest stroke of genius, Tobias Sammet and his metal opera project returned in 2019 with their album Moonglow. And how could it be otherwise: the long-time player shines alongside mastermind Sammet with an impressive guest list, typical of Avantasia. There are old acquaintances like Eric Martin, Ronnie Atkins, Jørn Lande, Geoff Tate, Michael Kiske and Bob Catley, but this time also new guest singers like Candice Night, Mille Petrozza and Hansi Kürsch. Together, they recorded eleven tracks for Moonglow, including catchy songs and epic anthems with many musical influences.
