Void ov Voices: Baalbek is the very first solo album by the legendary singer Attila Csihar, known for his work in Mayhem, SUNN O))), Plasma Pool, and Tormentor. For this album, Attila traveled to the archaeological site of the Monolith of Baalbek in Lebanon and conducted two sessions. The first, which lasted all night, took place right in front of the gigantic Trilithons of the Temple of Jupiter. For the second session, he recorded directly on one of the 900-ton monoliths a few kilometers from the temple site. The album was built over ten years and found its place with Stephen O’Malley's label, Ideologic Organ. Attila Csihar has continued to be a source of inspiration for what can be developed in the extreme fringes of music, in a radical and intelligent way. To say that he has been a fundamental inspiration in the art of music is an understatement.
