Not only because you travel with it (the double bass), people constantly come up to talk to you, and when you’re sightseeing as a duo, we always feel like there are three of us and that we are the last to go through customs at the airport. This incredible instrument fascinates with its variety of colors and its ability to communicate on many musical levels. With our CD Contrabajisimo, we decided to leave behind the traditional paths of classical bass. To go beyond the usual musical curiosity, we sought new horizons, and with Glen Moore, Dietmar Lowka, and Andreas Hinterseher, we found inspiring travel companions who are just as curious as we are.
