Description

The duo NOORG, now essential on the noise-drone electroacoustic scene, continues its work with a third album expected for the fall of 2026. The third album of a band often reveals another side, a maturity, a different direction. Following Plexus, released in 2018, and l’Autour in 2021, NOORG's III (Eric Brochard and Lo Guénin) evolves towards a more instrumental approach. The duo is now surrounded by an expanded setup — Fender Rhodes, keyboards, guitar — which opens up a wider range of timbres and a more organic sound presence. While improvisation remains the beating heart of their music, the forms have gradually become denser: the pieces are becoming more composed, outlining more precise trajectories while still allowing space for the unexpected and mutual listening. In this continuity, the duo Noorg is now envisioning the recording of a sound journey. A work unfolded like several stories: a piece divided among different landscapes, with the listening experience following a unique path, like a sound space to traverse. Each part will then become a chapter of the same narrative, an extension of the musical material.
