This album consists of pieces, mostly unpublished, for piano, as well as award-winning works for guitar by Radio France, performed by three international musicians, Kotaro Fukuma, Johan Smith, Mariam Renno, and a narrator, Marie-Laure de Beausacq. The pieces on this album are mostly unpublished, except for Le petit ours, Opus 37 no 1, a children's suite for piano published in the 1960s by Éditions Pan. This album illustrates the lessons of childhood, from wisdom to disobedience, from dreams to confusion, from gluttony to its dangers, and the attachment to the mother. Each piece is preceded by a description, narrated by Marie-Laure de Beausacq. The composer addresses pedagogical aspects: "Rhythmic difficulties of 5/8 and glissandi on the thumb, sonorities and connections, basses held by the pedal against rapid movements (...)". He also writes a version for guitar.
