Descending Into Madness

Description

With Descending Into Madness, their third album, Zornheym presents a prequel to the dark and complex story revolving around the Zornheim asylum, its inmates and their doctors – in a universe where it is never quite clear who is truly insane. “In an era obsessed with speed and immediate results, we deliberately chose substance over shortcuts. This album came to life over the years through hard work in writing, arranging and refining. Every decision mattered. Every layer was meticulously crafted. Nothing was rushed, nothing left to chance, until the vision was complete,” the band comments. “Somewhere Far Beyond offers a first glimpse of this new chapter: a prequel that takes us back to the moment when Dr Bettelheim first arrives at Zornheim, long before madness fully breaks loose. The track captures the epic choral power that defines the album and pushes our sound further than ever, with each band member delivering a performance at the top of their game.”
