Here, it's quite the opposite: with dark tones, an energy is unleashed – an energy that shows the band continues to carve its own path through modern power metal, enhanced by melodic interludes. Just listening to the album once is enough to appreciate what these experienced musicians have to offer, especially if you enjoy the classic features of heavy metal: dark, melodic, catchy, and menacing. 'Dark Hours' remains one of Lion's Share's strongest albums to date.
