The name RUTHLESS already evokes a lack of mercy. Since the early 1980s, under the leadership of singer Sammy DeJohn, the band has remained true to its heavy metal style. From their iconic first EP "Metal Without Mercy" (1984) to their cult album "Discipline Of Steel" (1986), and more recent albums "They Rise" (2015) and "Evil Within" (2019), they have never strayed from the influence of bands like JUDAS PRIEST, ACCEPT, and BLACK SABBATH, always staying rooted in their origins. Today, RUTHLESS is proud to announce the release of their upcoming studio album "Curse Of The Beast." The band has crafted an album rich in power and passion, while maintaining the classic sound of 80s heavy metal, ready to become a future classic and a must-have for all fans of traditional heavy metal like METAL CHURCH, JUDAS PRIEST, EXCITER, and others. "Curse Of The Beast" was recorded with producer Ron Sandoval (KERRY KING, among others), who also handled the final mixing and mastering. The album will be available on July 17, 2026. Shortly after, the band will perform at selected concerts in Europe, alongside MINDWARS and THE TROOPS OF DOOM, including at the legendary "Headbangers Open Air."
