Child's Play

Description

In winter 2025, trumpeter Teus Nobel forms a new quartet and records the jazz album Child’s Play. The compositions are inspired by his children, Bix (6 years old) and Charlie (3 years old), who helped their family get through a period of crisis thanks to their presence and spontaneity. The album will be released in September 2026, alongside a documentary devoted to this difficult period. In several venues, the release concerts will combine a screening of the documentary with a live performance by the quartet.
