Recorded on January 31, 2026, at the famous Blues Garage in Isernhagen, Germany, this CD/DVD box set captures an exceptional evening filled with energy, virtuosity, and the spirit that has defined the Blues Caravan for two decades. Since its inception, the Blues Caravan has helped many artists take a decisive step in their careers. Former participants such as Ana Popovic, Samantha Fish, Aynsley Lister, and Joanne Shaw Taylor have become essential figures in contemporary blues. The 2026 anniversary edition brings together three remarkable artists representing different facets of the current blues scene. Award-winning Californian guitarist Laura Chavez — whose work alongside Candye Kane, Nikki Hill, Vanessa Collier, and Mitch Ryder has earned her wide recognition — made her debut at the Blues Caravan as a solo artist. Alongside her, American blues-rocker Matthew Curry impressed with his powerful blend of blues, rock, and Americana, a style that has already led him to share the stage with artists such as Peter Frampton, the Steve Miller Band, the Doobie Brothers, and Blackberry Smoke. The lineup was completed by French revelation Elise Frank; already noted on the stages of prestigious European festivals with her band FRANK, she brings a fresh energy and a distinctive European touch to the ensemble.
