Aky Tsemboka

Ze Smile is an avant-garde TERNO music group, a musical genre invented by the group's founder Zo Ramaromisa in 1982 in Madagascar. This album titled "Aky Tsemboka" (It's Going to Sweat!) contains 10 tracks, mostly TERNO, including "Mbola Te," the first of its kind, as well as Malagasy Soul and Funk. It describes the musical universe of Ze Smile: a meeting of traditional Malagasy music with Funk playing and Electro sound for dancefloor and harmonious tracks. This 2026 release is the first distribution of "Aky Tsemboka," a CD produced in 2010 and published by Amiga Loba in collaboration with Kooloy Project.
