Description

Alexis Ffrench’s album 24 is a work conceived as the soundtrack to an entire day. Through 24 original compositions for piano, strings, and percussion, the British composer accompanies the listener from sunrise to sunset, turning everyday gestures into moments of contemplation. Inspired by memories, human connections, and the small rituals of life, these pieces flow seamlessly into one another to offer an immersive and soothing musical experience. Born from a reflection on the place of music in our lives, 24 notably originated with Coffee Song, a luminous piece inspired by a simple sign spotted during a walk in London. This first creative impulse led Alexis Ffrench to imagine a composition for every moment of the day, giving rise to an album where each track naturally follows the rhythm of the hours. With 24, Alexis Ffrench develops an intimate musical language, built around the piano and orchestral arrangements that give a new dimension to everyday moments. The album is available on double vinyl
