Ubique took Ubique more than four years to develop. Built around an enigmatic work by writer Philip K. Dick, Ubique is a hybrid, neither a phantom of the opera nor a symphony. Art Zoyd uses several interwoven rhythmic patterns, with arithmetic elements obsessively running throughout the entire piece, subjected to processes of retraction and extension. This particularly ambitious project, which brings together more than fifty musicians, is a true anthem to disproportion and excess.
