Concertos pour viole d'amour Intégrale
Description
The seductive sound of the viola d’amore is at the center of this new recording by violinist Rachel Barton Pine and the Chicago-based period-instrument ensemble Ars Antigua. The viola d’amore is an unusual instrument in the violin family with 14 strings, 7 of which are melodic and 7 sympathetic, for a soft, silvery sonority. Rachel Barton Pine is “one of the few performers with a true knowledge of Baroque style and its ornaments” (Fanfare) and “an accomplished Baroque violinist, equal to the most important specialists” (Gramophone)Buy Concertos pour viole d'amour Intégrale at the best price
