Oeuvres pour guitare

Description

Raphaëlla Smits, the great Belgian lady of the guitar, has been making memorable recordings for 35 years, among others for the Accent label. In complete stylistic symbiosis, this recital dating from 1999 does justice to Antonio Jiménez Manjón, a composer rarely recorded, despite his immense quality and melodic gift of almost infinite variety. By caressing the strings of a guitar built in 1899 by Vicente Torres, Raphaëlla Smits brings back to life this Spanish musician who emigrated to South America.
