Reflections'Reflections' is a personal retrospective of the Indian author, composer, performer, and sitar player. Anoushka Shankar who personally selected her favorite tracks from her successful albums, 'Land of Gold', 'Traces of you' and 'Rise' among others, to shape an anthology that reflects her image. In addition to her personal contributions and her vision of each chosen piece, it will feature the most important collaborators of her career: her father and sitar icon Ravi Shankar, her sister Nora Jones, the author and performer Alev Lens, the composer and producer Karsh Kale, and many others. Anoushka Shankar is a unique personality on the stages of Indian classical music and progressive world music. Through her bold and collaborative approach as a composer, she has sensitively encouraged a transcultural dialogue, provoking an emotional reception of her music marked by a particular honesty across continents and cultures.
