Hymnes des 10 vertus de Marie

Description

The Annonciades sing the 10 Hymns of the virtues of Mary, on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the birth of their founder, Saint Jeanne. Religious communities, through the daily practice of prayer and the offices, develop an abundant and high-quality monastic repertoire. Here, the theme of the virtues of Mary makes it possible to write new hymns whose text is as close as possible to the texts of the Gospels and offers music that can be taken up in all parish communities. This CD, produced by the Annonciades from different French-speaking communities, is being released on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the birth of their founder, Saint Jeanne. That is why this musical project is built around the very pillars of their rule: the 10 virtues of Mary. These communities are in full growth, as shown by the construction of a new monastery in Normandy in Grentheville, for which a diocesan and national momentum is underway.
