Description

Four years after Bare, the former Eurythmics singer releases this lush album recorded in Los Angeles under the guidance of Glen Ballard. She showcases her mastery of pop and grandiloquence through finely produced tracks that serve as vehicles for conveying her humanist (even humanitarian) ideas that she holds today. For the feminist anthem Sing, she managed to gather a choir of personalities including Madonna, Joss Stone, Gladys Knight, kd lang, Angélique Kidjo, Beth Gibbons, and Beth Orton, who are also sensitive to the causes (Annie Lennox notably supports the actions of 46664 and TAC) she advocates, with her voice prominently featured.
