2018 marks the beginning of a new era in the history of Angra. ØMNI, the 9th studio album of the Brazilian metal band led by Rafael Bittencourt, is the result of many months of intense dedication, sweat, and blood. Produced by Jens Bogren (already the producer of Secret Garden), who has once again captured the chemistry of the band, ØMNI is a concept album, a series of short science fiction stories that take place in different locations simultaneously. Angra's trademark, this heavy metal mixed with Brazilian traditional music and classical, is highlighted by other influences such as progressive rock, thrash metal, djent... ØMNI is certainly a significant milestone, not only in the history of Angra but also for Brazilian metal and its recognition worldwide.
