Django Celebration: sharing heritage, virtuosity as a legacy in a vibrant 3rd volume. The trio formed by Angelo Debarre, Adrien Moignard, and William Brunard brings together three major figures of gypsy jazz, recognized for their virtuosity, sense of improvisation, and the quality of their arrangements. Angelo Debarre, an influential guitarist since the 1980s, has left a lasting mark on the evolution of gypsy guitar with his exceptional technique. Adrien Moignard shares with him a remarkable mastery of the instrument, a taste for refined harmonies, and great talent as an accompanist. Inspired by the spirit of the famous jam sessions of the Django Reinhardt festival, the trio offers a journey through over fifty years of gypsy jazz. Their repertoire blends classics associated with Django Reinhardt, creatively reinterpreted, and original compositions that reflect the vitality and evolution of the genre. Highlights include pieces like Compartiment Swing, Will Blues, Oyana, or Tangogelo, as well as an inspired interpretation of Autumn Leaves, which stands as one of the emotional peaks of the concert.
