Mutant and Walt Disney Records have announced the first physical release of the soundtrack to Disney and Pixar’s hit animated film, “Inside Out 2,” composed by Andrea Datzman. The music builds on Michael Giacchino's work for the first film, with new compositions exploring the fiery emotions of the heroines inside a teenager's mind. The piano melodies from the first film blend with new anxieties. The new emotions act as a rock-and-roll bassline, while strings evoke essential memories, creating a soundtrack perfectly suited to Riley's dreams of fitting in. This limited-edition vinyl is presented in a gatefold sleeve featuring artwork by Nicole Gustafsson and includes notes from composer Andrea Datzman.
