For Year C, the complete collection of Sunday psalms by André Gouzes. A flagship work in the spirit of Sylvanès where choirs and psalmody play a predominant role. 86 Sunday psalms corresponding to the liturgical year C, composed by André Gouzes. These works are short and functional for the participation of the assembly of the faithful through the singing of antiphons (refrain regularly repeated between the solo verses). They are presented in two versions, in unison and in four-part polyphony. As for the verses, the prosody alternates between the singing of a soloist and the polyphony of a quartet. This album was recorded by the vocal ensemble Hilarium, composed of eight a cappella singers and conducted by Bertrand Lemaire.
