Portunes - Vinyle

Description

al.so, the new quartet bringing together the most creative improvisers from Berlin and London, offers us a first EP, portunes, which is infused with the vast rural landscapes where it was created and the intuitive freedom born from the unprecedented meeting of these musicians: keyboardist Moses Yoofee (Moses Yoofee Trio), harpist Miriam Adefris (Flur, Floating Points), saxophonist Marius Max (Sonic Interventions) and modular synthesizer specialist Robert Henriques (Philip Glass, Patti Smith). Available on November 20, 2026 on limited edition vinyl, portunes is a work that is at once brief, subtle and deeply moving, an invitation to immersion. A true pause in the chaos and frenzy of today’s world, this EP offers us a space to take the time to dive into the sonic universe of these four musicians, each at the top of their art, drawing on rich and varied musical experiences to create a totally unexpected work.
