Led by flutist Alice Szymanski, this sonic odyssey brings to life the Lot flute by Gaston Blanquart — an overlooked gem from 1867 — in dialogue with a Bechstein piano from 1900, an artist recently awarded a Victoire de la Musique Classique (Lucile Richardot) and a renowned chamber musician (Marie Ythier). In a repertoire marked by French elegance and emerging impressionism, the works of Fauré, Roussel, Debussy, and Ravel are accompanied by moving unpublished pieces. At the crossroads of eras, L'Enchanteur becomes a manifesto of transmission and emotion, an intimate quest for sound and meaning.
