Captain Fantastic

Description

Alex Somers, known for his collaborations with Jónsi and Sigur Rós, more recently composed the soundtrack for Matt Ross’s latest film, Captain Fantastic, starring Viggo Mortensen. This soundtrack also includes features with Jónsi. The film was presented at the Sundance Film Festival and received numerous excellent reviews from newspapers such as The Guardian. With Captain Fantastic, Matt Ross also won the award for Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival. Alex Somers’s score is a splendid reflection of this strange story. Both delicate and haunting, it creates a beautifully ethereal atmosphere
