When Aldo Romano discovers Vincent Lê Quang, he is literally captivated by the generosity and genius of the young saxophonist. A few days later, Aldo decides not to stop there and contacts Vincent to propose continuing the adventure. Without the slightest hesitation, he adds his companion and friend, the brilliant double bassist Henri Texier, to the duo, to quote him, "to play free again." Last January, they recorded live on the stage of the Triton their "Liberi sumus": "Free jazz? Yes, finally. I would rather call it total improvisation. An art that is often forgotten today, which we have practiced a lot with the indispensable Henri Texier at different periods of our journey.
