For ten years, Albin de la Simone performed all of his concerts without amplification. From the Européen to the Philharmonie de Paris, from a church in Saint-Étienne to the Yamaha Hall in Tokyo, we listened to his songs right against the skin, without technological intermediaries. It was wonderful.
Today, he turns the page.
Standing with a microphone in hand, on bass or keyboard, accompanied by three musicians - Marie Lalonde (guitar or bass), Marielle Chatain (Keyboards, baritone saxophone, and percussion) and Franck MBoueke (drums and percussion) - he returns to amplifiers with as much joy as he loved acoustic music. A choice naturally consistent with his new album Les cent prochaines années, produced by Sage (Ambroise Willaume).
