Albert Cummings joins the already very rich roster of blues guitarists at Provogue (Bonamassa, Walter Trout, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Eric Gales…). While he is still almost unknown to us, he has already played with heavyweights like Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Susan Tedeschi, Sheryl Crow, and B.B. King! He has also worked with big producers such as Jim Gaines and David Z.
Inspired since his teenage years by the technical mastery of Stevie Ray Vaughan, he started touring with his band Swamp Yankee. In 2003, Cummings released his first solo album, ‘From the Heart’, and in 2017 his album ‘Live At The ’62 Center’ was nominated for the best blues rock albums of the year!
By joining the other six-string virtuosos signed to Provogue, Cummings' career should quickly take a significant leap forward!
