La dérive des rêves

Description

Three decades after his recording debut, Jérôme Minière continues to explore the relationship between technology and intimacy with La dérive des rêves. The tracks “Pensées sans calcul,” recorded with Salomé Leclerc, and “Hikikomori,” in collaboration with Poirier (Ghislain Poirier), bring to life a repertoire in which programming, melodies, and poetic writing explore algorithms, isolation, and the evolution of our ways of life. As writer, composer, and producer of the entire project, he has created a body of work in which each song sheds light on one facet of these contemporary questions. This release is part of a career that has, since its beginnings, combined French-language songwriting and electronic experimentation.
