In 1967, Agnetha's first single, written by herself, "Jag Var Så Kär" (I Was So in Love), was recorded in October 1967 and released by Cupol Records the following month. It reached the top of the Swedish charts in January 1968 and sold over 80,000 copies. The songs from her solo albums can all be sung in Swedish, but her voice is so exceptional that the entertainment aspect never diminishes. Her voice is so sweet and beautiful that you don't care about not knowing what she is singing about. You can clearly hear the maturation of her work, from the first "Agnetha" in 1967 to "Elva Kvinnor" in 1975. It is a collection of songs written and performed with heart.
