It is no surprise that Anne Sylvestre agreed to write the introduction to this album to inspire a desire to listen to her words and her voice, as their paths resonate outside the beaten tracks and always with the demand for uncompromising sincerity. The release of the album Il était une femme will be celebrated at La Cigale on March 8, 2020, with an exceptional concert and a Feminist Forum featuring many artists (Anne Sylvestre, Yves Jamait, Mellissmell) and the Femmes Solidaires collective, which will spice up this day with its proposals, already shaping up to be an event that marks all of Agnès Bihl's commitments: the stage, friendship, indignation, feminism, and solidarity without borders.
