Description

Active Force was an American boogie, funk, and soul quintet created by producer and songwriter Michael Stokes. Their self-titled album was released in 1983 and included the major club hit "Give Me Your Love," between "Cold Blooded Lover" and "My Sunshine." Michael Stokes achieved great success writing, producing, and working for Creative Source, Smokey Robinson, Janet Jackson, Brass Construction, and BT Express, while Grammy Award-winning pianist Patrice Rushen also contributed to the Active Force album.
