Acid King's first live album. This live recording was mixed by Billy Anderson and mastered by Justin Weis. The artwork was created by Richard Schouten from the original poster of the show held on April 14, 2011. Acid King is a stoner rock/metal band from San Francisco, California. Formed in 1993 by frontwoman, guitarist, and vocalist Lori S., bassist Peter Lucas, and drummer Joey Osbourne, the trio quickly made a name for themselves in the stoner scene for their heavy, low-end sound, ethereal atmosphere, and Lori's distinctive vocals; "The smell of hashish permeated the crowd in the Tilburg venue, and as a projection of horror and biker films rolled, the thunderous opening riff burst into the crowd. As the cosmic riff grooved, Lori S.'s sultry and hypnotic voice settled in, and soon the band's sheer presence and powerful sound became captivating. The band's heavy, bluesy sound perfectly evoked the festival atmosphere, and on several of their tracks, the bass rumbled through the ecstatic crowd. With each devastating riff, a multitude of fiery lights illuminated the crowd, and the venue was soon a whirlwind of heat and sweat. As the band played a wide range of songs from their many albums, the breathtaking sound system was incredibly immersive and perfectly complemented the music."
