Russian Roulette

Description

The seventh studio album by German heavy metal heroes Accept. Russian Roulette was originally released in 1986. Recorded at the famous Dierks Studios in Germany, the album was produced by the band themselves. The last Accept album with Udo Dirkschneider, until his return in 1993, it marks the band’s return to darker sounds and a heavier sound than that of their previous album, Metal Heart, which was more commercial. The cover and themes of the album reflect a time when the Cold War was still at its height and the fall of the Berlin Wall was still more than three years away. This remastered version includes three live bonus tracks recorded during their 1985 Japanese tour: Burning, Head Over Heels and Neon Nights. This version includes liner notes by Malcolm Dome of Metal Hammer, based on interviews with original members Wolf Hoffmann and Stefan Kaufmann.
