The return of A2H with a great Rap album. Featuring contributions from Jungle Jack, Zek, Dau, Benjamin Epps, Dinaa, and Ferdi, among others. With "Les gosses effrayés," A2H returns to his roots with this perfectly produced rap album. The album kicks off with the banger "Pozoblanco" before seamlessly transitioning into "Pourquoi 26," a duet with Zek, a nod to "Pourquoi ?" by Busta Flex. The title track "Les gosses effrayés" is a superb track where A2H leaves the spotlight to star saxophonist Ferdi after his verse. With "Focus," A2H invites the talented lyricist and puncher Benjamin Epps. Another highlight of this album is the collaboration with Jungle Jack, delivering punch after punch, as well as the one with Jeremiah titled "Ma garce." Canadian singer Blynk, discovered alongside Damso, is also featured on "No Love," a more new R&B-Rap track. In addition to Swiss singer Mia Oud, we also logically find singer Dinaa, signed to A2H's label, with the surprising track "Berline noire." The album concludes with "Daddy’s Room," marking the new musical and personal era that A2H is now entering. The album is entirely produced by A2H and Clyde Bessi in a very organic vein reminiscent of The Roots, Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. In this new album, A2H sincerely addresses the issues of a man in his thirties, navigating the challenges of becoming a parent, adult responsibilities, emerging fears, as well as past mistakes and love stories, whether successful or not. This new album also reveals a deep, underlying commitment on many tracks: a fight against oppression, fascism, and racism. A2H adopts antifascist and anti-war positions, infusing the album with this social consciousness. All these personal and engaged themes enrich this project, making it both introspective and resolutely outward-looking.
