It's their first release since the 2016 election and the closure of Death By Audio in 2014, the DIY venue where Oliver Ackerman lived, worked, and created freely. Pinned opens with "Never Coming Back," a sinister crescendo of vocals and shredded guitars mixed with Dion Lunadon's relentless bass. Braswell, who joined the band on drums, also contributes vocals on "Never Coming Back" as well as on other tracks from Pinned, adding a whole new dimension to the band. "It's hard to keep things moving after 10 years of existence, but we constantly try to push ourselves, whether it's with concerts or recordings. We always want to go further!"
