Although unintended, Naptown’s trinity, 81355 (pronounced BLESS), quickly became revolutionary figures. When Oreo Jones, Sirius Blvck, and Sedcairn unite, genres evaporate, giving way to captivating poetry and sonic hypnosis. Their second album, *Bad Dogs*, pressed on brown-colored vinyl, is a continuation of their signature sound: an angelic, gritty, and captivating urban anthem for disillusioned minds. While primarily known for their musical notoriety, the members of 81355 are resolutely committed to improving their community through collective creative expansion. For the first time, the project's live band is part of the production, with Sharlene Birdsong on bass guitar, Dimitri Morris on guitar, and Pat Okerson on drums. The listening experience of *Bad Dogs* also extends to the visual realm: an Afrofuturist sci-fi short film titled *Sleep Study*, exploring the toxic implications of algorithmic control and capitalism, will be released concurrently with the album. As the moving text on the album cover (painted by Stockholm-based artist Julia de Ruvo) indicates, the heart of *Bad Dogs* draws its perseverance from the wild dogs in the preserves animating the rust-colored indigenous lands of New Mexico and beyond.
