2 Pacalypse now Limited Edition

Description

Japanese limited edition reissue of 2Pacalypse Now, the first studio album by Tupac Shakur, originally released on November 12, 1991. The title is an explicit reference to Coppola’s film Apocalypse Now (1979) about the Vietnam War. This first album appears to be the most overtly political. It denounces social issues such as police brutality, poverty, teenage pregnancy, and drugs. Some rappers such as Nas or Talib Kweli drew inspiration from this album to later create their own works.
