Hoarse - Remasterisé

Description

This record is dedicated to everyone who has always thought that 16 Horsepower was a fabulous live band. For everyone else, this live album, in the form of a compilation of their best tracks, is the ideal way to discover them. Led by the charismatic David Eugene Edwards, who is rather fired up here, the lineup fires on all cylinders and dares to tackle a few choice covers by Joy Division ("Days Of The Lords"), Creedence Clearwater Revival (the cult classic "Bad Moon Rising") and the Gun Club on "Fire Spirit" in a particularly intense version where Bertrand Cantat of Noir Désir, who came to lend a hand, proves himself worthy of his creator Jeffrey Lee Pierce. Driven on by the ferocity of two former Passion Fodder members, the band's performance will delight aficionados and, without a doubt, win over a few new fans here and there.
