About

Two studio albums and one notable live LP; original 1982-83 UK pressings remain collectible.

Yazoo, also known as Yaz in the US, emerged as a British New Wave synthpop group in 1982. Duo members Vince Clarke, a founding member of Depeche Mode, and Alison Moyet, known for her soulful voice, created a distinct sound that fused punk influences with electronic music. They released two studio albums during their brief career, "Upstairs At Eric's" in 1982 and "You And Me Both" in 1983, both issued on Mute Records. Despite their short lifespan, Yazoo left a mark through hit singles like "Don't Go" and "Only You." Various original and international vinyl pressings from the early 1980s are sought after by collectors.

The duo reunited in the late 2000s, issuing "Reconnected Live" in 2010, available as a limited edition live LP.
