About

18 vinyl albums from raw black metal to melodic heavy metal — key pressings tracked in Europe and Japan.

Founded by Jon and Criss Oliva, Savatage's discography charts a trajectory from their 1983 debut "Sirens" to complex concepts like 1995's "Dead Winter Dead." Their early albums reflect raw heavy metal and power metal elements, while the later works introduce progressive structures and symphonic textures, notably under producer Paul O'Neill's guidance. Following the tragic loss of guitarist Criss Oliva in 1993, the band continued to develop their unique metal style.

Vinyl editions of their albums range from original pressings in the 80s to recent remasters and picture discs, with active markets in Europe and Japan.
