About

Seven vinyl releases from 2009 to 2021, featuring original pressings mainly on Wagram Music and The Audio Kitchen.

General Elektriks represents the solo project of Hervé Salters, a French musician and keyboard specialist known for his mastery of vintage instruments such as the clavinet, Hammond organ, and Rhodes piano. The project's recordings blend electronic production with eclectic influences including funk, jazz, and soul, crafting a hybrid sound that resists easy classification.

Albums have been produced internationally, with studio sessions spanning Paris, San Francisco, Seattle, and Berkeley, the latter being Salters' current base. General Elektriks incorporates collaborations, notably featuring rapper Lateef The Truth Speaker on select tracks, contributing to the dynamic fusion of styles.
