About

Over 50 vinyl editions tracked, major albums from progressive metal icons with original releases spanning 1989–2021.

Dream Theater emerged from the Berklee College of Music in 1985, founded by guitarist John Petrucci, bassist John Myung, and drummer Mike Portnoy. The band quickly gained recognition for technical virtuosity and complex compositions that fuse metal and progressive rock influences. The core lineup consolidated with James LaBrie on vocals and Jordan Rudess on keyboards following early member changes. Their work covers expansive themes and intricate songwriting, reflected in diverse studio and live albums throughout their prolific career.

Their vinyl catalog includes studio albums, live recordings, and special editions released on labels such as Roadrunner Records, Inside Out Music, and Rhino.
