This collection is mostly band socks, rock and pop culture socks, plus boxers, bodysuits, bralettes and lingerie; corset tops, goth corsets, tights and harnesses make up a smaller share. American Socks, Urban Classics, jack & jones, Vans and Dr. Martens handle socks and basics. Corset top or goth corset: which one do you need?

A true corset, steel-boned and laced at the back, is built to be cinched gradually and can shape the waist. A corset top is lighter and worn as a fashion top: flexible boning, a zip or hook closure, and structure without real waist reduction. For sizing, measure your bust, waist and hips, then compare with the size chart on the EMP page. Corsets leave little room for guesswork. Wash lingerie and printed socks at a low temperature in a mesh laundry bag, and skip the dryer, which wears out elastic and lace. A boned corset generally should not go in the washing machine: follow the care label, spot-clean and let it air out flat.
