Released in 1980, a few months after the death of Bon Scott, AC/DC’s singer to whom this album is dedicated, this second record by Trust is by far their best (and their biggest commercial success). With sharp guitar riffs and relentless indictments of the injustices of modern society, with Répression, Bernie Bonvoisin and his band did not just invent hard rock in French. They also emerged for a whole audience as one of the best bands in the genre. And it is true that Trust was never as convincing as when they sang “Antisocial”
